Aged in old American hogsheads, it exhibits a rich bouquet of roasted meats, new saddle leather, spice, and earth along with plenty of briery, peppery black fruits. This big, rich, fruit-driven, opulently-styled Zinfandel should be consumed over the next 3-5 years. This stunning 2002 Zinfandel is performing even better than it did last year.
