This wine is both elegant and intense, offering layered aromas of red raspberries, fresh Oregon strawberries, brown spice and cedar. Its aromas are reflected on a palate that speaks of purity and elegance, and is exceptionally balanced with silky tannins and a persistent finish. This wine will pair beautifully with the Pinot noir classics - lamb, duck, grilled salmon, and aged cheeses.

Again in 2009 this barrel selection from Adelsheim's best estate vineyards is a standout. Though still quite young and tight, the mix of ripe fruits, brown spices, cedar and smoke make for a beguiling nose that promises a long life ahead. Silky and elegant, but let it breathe or better yet cellar it for another half decade.

Wine Advocate
The 2009 Pinot Noir Elizabeth's Reserve is a blend of seven vineyards. Darker in color than the Willamette Valley cuvee, it sports an alluring nose of spicy black fruits and floral aromas. In the glass it exhibits ample savory fruit, moderate depth, and a medium-long finish. It, too, is meant for drinking over the next 6-7 years.

Sustainably Grown
Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
