Altas Cumbres

Intense red color with blue and violet tinges. Fruity flavors where most significant are red fruits. Harmonious and elegant. Ideal for any kind of meat, chicken, duck and any kind of pasta.

Wine Advocate

The 2010 Malbec is a medium-weight effort that received the same elevage as the Cabernet. It displays notes of spice box, cherry blossom, cherry cola and black currant that point to an easygoing, forward, tasty wine that offers solid value in a wine meant for drinking over the next 3-4 years.

Score: 86. —Jay Miller, December 2011.

Wine Enthusiast

Scratchy, slightly foxy berry and cherry aromas lead to an active, juicy palate with berry, perky red plum and herbal flavors. Finishes fresh and tangy, with adequate kick. A presentable, normal type of Malbec.

Score: 85. —Michael Schachner, December 31, 2011.
